Miss Texas USA 2006, was held at the Laredo Entertainment Center in Laredo, Texas on June 26, 2005. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Lauren Lanning of Houston was crowned by outgoing titleholder Tyler Willis
The pageant was hosted by Dan O'Rourke who hosted the pageant for the 11th and final year along with Miss USA 2001 Kandace Krueger-Matthews co-hosting for the second year
This was the second of five years of that the pageant was held in Laredo, Texas
